Set up Ask the Sky

Ask the sky — the launcher's built-in AI assistant — needs one thing from you before it can answer: a key from an AI provider you choose. You bring your own; Zenith supplies the rest.

Two facts before you start:

• Your key is stored only on your device, and shared across every Zenith app — set it once here and the suite's other apps can use it too.
• Entering a key isn't the same as sending anything. Your first real question triggers a one-time disclosure before it goes out.

#Turn the assistant on

1. Open Settings › ask the sky.
2. Check that "ai & assistant" at the top is on. (It's on by default.)

#Add your provider key

1. On the same page, open "provider & key · bring your own AI".
2. Pick your provider from the row of chips. A provider that already has a key shows a check mark.
3. Tap "get key ↗" to open that provider's key page in your browser, if you need one.
4. Copy your own key from the provider, then tap "paste" to drop it into the field. Zenith never fills this for you — the key is yours.
5. Type or paste the model name you want to use.
6. Tap "test" to check the key works. A test sends only a sign-in probe — no question, no content.

Your provider is set.

#Ask your first question

1. Open the assistant — from Settings › ask the sky tap "open — ask the sky", or open the panel from your sky (your home screen).
2. Type a request, like "open settings", and tap "send".
3. The first time you send to a provider, a one-time disclosure appears. Read it and accept to continue.

The assistant answers. You're set up.
