The accessibility sky

A sky that's easy on your eyes, ears, and hands. The pieces below live together on the accessibility page, and you can turn on as many as help — each is off until you choose it. Reach them all in Settings › accessibility, with text size in Settings › fonts & text size.

#Make it easier to see

Turn on "high contrast — pure white light" and the sky — your whole home screen — renders its light in pure white for the sharpest edges. It sits in the "vision" section, next to spoken labels below.

For bigger text everywhere, open Settings › fonts & text size › size and raise the "master — all sky text" slider. It scales every piece of on-screen text at once — labels, clock, weather — so one move makes the whole sky larger. See Fonts & text size.

#Make it easier to hear

Turn on "spoken labels — read the star aloud" and Zenith reads a star — an app, folder, or shortcut you've placed — aloud as you explore the ring — the wheel of your apps. It works with your screen reader so you can move over your apps and hear each one named before you open it.

#Calm the motion

If movement is distracting or uncomfortable, turn on "reduce motion — calm sparks, trails, pulses". Zenith's animated effects settle down while everything keeps working.

#Make it easier to touch

Turn on "dwell to select — rest to launch, no lift" and you open a star by resting on it instead of lifting your finger. A "dwell time (ms)" slider then sets how long you must rest, so you can make it as forgiving as you need.

One tip. Turn these on one at a time and use each for a while before adding the next. That way you learn what actually helps you, not only what sounds helpful.
