Descend into a folder

Reference
animationA nested ring of app icons opening from a folder star.Screenshot coming soon
Landing on a folder opens a second ring of everything inside it.

What it is. A folder — a star that holds its own ring of stars. Sliding onto a folder while the ring is open drills into it: its stars bloom as a new ring you can slide into.

How to do it. With the ring — a wheel of your apps — open under your finger, slide onto a folder star and rest there for a beat. The folder's children open as a nested ring around your fingertip. Slide onto any of them and lift to open it, just as you would on the main ring.

How to come back. Trace your finger back into the heart of the ring you came from — the exact point the folder grew from. That folds the nested ring shut and returns you to the ring above it.

Rituals. A folder can be marked a ritual — a folder that opens everything inside it at once. Lifting on a ritual folder does not drill in; it launches every star inside, in order. You set this with the "ritual — release launches everything inside" toggle on the folder itself.
