Glossary

Zenith names things after the night sky. The motif is the flavor; the plain function is the truth. This page gives you the plain function for every term, in one alphabetical list. A (Gold) tag means the feature comes with the paid upgrade.

All apps — Every app installed on your phone. Zenith shows the set two ways: the star index (by gesture) and deep sky (a searchable list).

Ask the sky — The built-in AI assistant. Open the "ask the sky" panel to type or speak a question and get a reply.

Breathe — An optional pause before a chosen app opens. Set it on a star you don't want to open by accident.

Cielo — The assistant behind ask the sky — the "who" whose voice frames each reply. Cielo is the launcher's built-in helper.

Comet — A notification, drawn as a mote drifting across the sky. Catch one to open, dismiss, or snooze the real notification.

Deep sky — The full A–Z list of every app, searchable and scrollable.

Direct — Your pin inbox: things other apps have sent into Zenith — a bookmark, file, note, or playlist — each kept with its label and icon.

Dock — The ring's row of edit buttons, shown while a ring is open. "add" is always there; "re-place", "edit", and "remove" appear once you touch a star.

Flick — A quick directional swipe made before a hold lands. Bind one to a fast action, like opening the star index or the notification shade.

Folder — A star that holds other stars. Open it and a nested ring of its contents blooms.

Gold unlocks — The list of what buying Zenith Gold turns on in the launcher.

Lens — An AI mode shared across the suite. It changes how a reply comes back, not who is speaking. The lens control appears only when the Zenith AI app is installed.

List mode — A text-panel layout instead of rings: folders open as cascading lists you slide down. A whole-launcher switch, the opposite of icon mode.

My sky (Gold) — A live wallpaper of the real night sky above you, placed by your location and the time, drifting as the night turns. Two fingers pinch to zoom, drag to pan, twist to tilt.

Node — The data record behind one item in a sky — its type, label, color, place, and any contents. On a ring, a node shows up as a star.

Orbit — How far a star sits from the center of its ring. Drag a star in or out to change its orbit; it snaps to even steps.

Quick ring — A small floating ✦ bubble over every app. Tap it and the ring blooms, so you can open something without leaving what you're in.

Region — A zone of the sky that groups stars, like a page or category. Each region has its own ring; you can have up to nine.

Region index — A region you set so that holding in it opens the star index instead of that region's own ring.

Ring — The wheel of your apps that blooms under your finger when you hold the sky.

Ritual — A folder that opens everything inside it at once, in order — a morning set of apps, say — instead of showing a ring.

Shuttle — The suite's shared tray for passing things between Zenith apps. Tapping an item uses it and leaves it in place; only "−" removes it.

Sky — Your home screen: the whole dark surface you touch to summon rings. Also a full saved layout you can switch between.

Sparkler (Gold) — The brightest setting of the touch trail's sparks, at the top of the spark-intensity scale.

Star — An app, folder, or shortcut you've placed — the point of light you tap on a ring.

Star index — The quick A–Z picker for all your apps: a semi-circle of letter-groups you slide across. The gesture route to the same apps as deep sky.

Suite broker — The shared store that passes Gold, keys, settings, and the Shuttle between signed Zenith apps on your device. The launcher hosts it once installed.

Talisman — A gesture shortcut: draw a shape quickly on the sky to trigger its action — open an app, run a system action, or follow a shortcut.

Tulpa — The "being" behind ask the sky — the voice and context that frame each reply. The launcher's built-in one is Cielo.

Twinkle (Gold) — A shimmer effect around your fingertip, from off up to dense.

Usage as light — An option that makes the apps you open most often burn brighter. Off unless you turn it on.

Veil — The privacy curtain that covers the launcher when the screen sleeps. It's a cover, not device security — your phone's own lock still guards it. Lift it by drawing your unseal talisman, or by resting a still finger for about four seconds.

Zenith actions — The accessibility helper that lets your gestures do system things: lock the screen, open the notification shade. It reads nothing from your screen.

Zenith gold — The one-time paid upgrade that lifts the launcher's feature limits.
