Set-default won't stick / getting back to default
Making Zenith your default launcher means it becomes your home screen: the Home button and the home swipe bring you back to the sky — your whole home surface. If that stops working, or you want to hand home back to another launcher, here's how. You can undo this anytime, so it's safe.
Set it, or set it again
On first launch, the welcome does this for you: the "make zenith your home" step has a "set as default →" button. When Zenith is already your home, that card reads "zenith is your home launcher".
To set it any other time:
- Open your phone's default-apps or home-app settings.
- Choose Zenith as the Home app.
- Confirm.
When it won't stick
Some phones drop the default launcher after a reboot, a force-stop, or an aggressive battery cleanup. That is the system's doing, not a switch inside Zenith.
- Re-pick Zenith as the Home app, using the steps above.
- Stop your phone from killing Zenith in the background — see Zenith gets killed / notifications die after reboot.
- Follow the notes for your phone brand in Per-OEM matrix.
Getting back to another launcher
- Open your phone's default-apps or home-app settings.
- Choose a different Home app.
Your skies and settings stay on the device — switching home apps doesn't erase them.
How to tell it worked
Press the Home button. If you land on the sky, Zenith is your home screen.
