Quick Ring is a floating ✦ bubble that sits over every app. Tap it and the ring — a wheel of your apps — blooms, so you can open something without going back to the sky, your home screen. It is off to start, and it needs one permission: the right to draw over other apps.
Quick Ring is free — it is not a Gold feature.
Turn it on
- Open Settings › system.
- Turn on "✦ quick ring — the ring over any app".
- When asked, grant "display over other apps".
The bubble appears and stays on top of whatever you're using.
Use it
- Tap the bubble to bloom the ring, then slide onto an app and lift to open it.
- Drag the bubble to move it out of your way.
The ring here is for opening apps only — it has no add or edit dock, and no pinch-zoom. Once you open something or dismiss it, you return to the app you were in. Turning the toggle off removes the bubble.
