On-screen buttons & corners

What they are. A few small, tappable buttons Zenith can show at the edges of your sky — the home screen. Each is optional and set at Settings › system. They give you a visible tap target for things you'd otherwise reach by a held gesture.

#The settings gear

What it is. A ⚙ gear in the lower-right corner that opens the settings sheet when tapped.

Behavior. On by default, so a fresh sky always has a way into settings. Its switch is Settings › system › show ⚙ settings corner. Turn it off and the sky goes bare — you then reach settings by holding the lower-right corner, which is bound to open settings by default, or from the "zenith settings" row pinned in deep sky — the full A–Z app list.

#The ask the sky button

What it is. A ✦ button in the top-right that opens ask the sky — the launcher's built-in AI assistant.

Behavior. Off by default. Its switch is Settings › system › show ✦ ask the sky corner button. By default the button appears only while a ring is open. A sub-toggle beneath it, "↳ always on", keeps it visible at all times instead — it only appears once the button itself is on. The whole control is hidden if you've turned the AI off.

#The shuttle button

What it is. A 🚀 button in the top-right, just right of the ask button, that pops up the shuttle — the suite's shared tray for passing things between Zenith apps.

Behavior. Off by default, and independent of the ask button. Its switch is Settings › system › show 🚀 shuttle corner button, with its own "↳ always on" sub-toggle beneath it. By default it shows only while a ring is open. Tap it to open the shuttle, or during a hold-and-slide, glide onto it and lift to fire it.
