Talismans — draw, inscribe, cast
A talisman — a gesture shortcut — is a glyph you draw fast on the sky, your home screen, to open an app, run an action, or open a folder's ring. You teach Zenith the shape once, then draw it whenever you want it. Casting is on by default.
Inscribe a talisman
- Open Settings › talismans.
- Tap "✎ inscribe new talisman".
- Draw your glyph in one stroke.
- Draw it a second time, so Zenith learns your hand.
- Type a name in the "talisman name" field.
- Choose a target under "apps", "actions", or "rings".
Your talisman is saved and ready to cast.
Cast it
Draw the glyph quickly on the sky. The stroke needs to be a fair size, not a tiny mark. If it matches closely enough, the talisman fires. When two of your glyphs look alike, the one higher in the list wins; you can reorder them from the same settings page.
Drawing a plain circle is reserved — it opens the star index rather than casting. See Draw a circle to the star index.
You can keep casting the ones you have for free. Adding more past the free set is a (Gold) upgrade — the button then reads "✦ more talismans with gold".
