#Design and bring to life

• Bring an entry to life in one go: one slide per page, a scene for each — or filled from a template you name (Gold). It is a preview until you ask it to keep it; keeping it puts the entry as it was into its history, so you can bring that back.
• Play a preview on screen before keeping it.
• Change an entry's design a step at a time — add a slide, set a slide's background, lay it out by a template — each a preview until kept.
• Make any one step design makes: add, remove, move, split or fold a slide; set a slide's canvas or every slide's; move, size, place, line up, crop or mask a box; take a box off; put one of the entry's files on a slide, or one of its paragraphs in a text box; and, with Gold, a gradient, a sticker, a frame, a filter, what the words wear and a box's own colour.
• Change a scene a step at a time — its length, how it arrives, the pause after it, the camera, what a thing wears, a moment written or taken away, or "still again" (Gold).
• Lay a caption down, or take one out.
• Lay out a journal's presentation, one slide per entry, and change it — kept at once.
• Name the installed templates, and every arrival, effect and camera move there is.
• Take a template or an effect pack off the phone — asked first. Never the free sample, "aurora letter".

#Play and share

• Play an entry's or a journal's show on screen, and play a journal's signature.
• Share an entry or a journal in any form the share page offers — words, a copy of the words, markdown, a text pdf, a pdf of the slides, pictures, a web page, a gif, a video, or the entry or journal file — at standard, high or small quality, and open the share sheet for your tap (Gold). The last tap is always yours.

#The shuttle

• Open the shuttle, and say what is riding it.
• Bring an item in as a new entry, or add it to an entry.
• Copy an item's words, or a file's name.
• Put an entry's words on the shuttle (Gold) — asked first.
• Take an item off the shuttle, for every Zenith app — asked first.

#Things that arrive

• While "something arrived" is open: say what came — the subject, the words and the files' names — and answer "where shall it go": a new entry, added to an entry, onto the shuttle (Gold), or let go.
• While "a file to open" is open: say what the file holds, and bring it in or install it (Gold).

#Moving around the screen

• Switch the view — the sky, the list, the orbits, or insights (Gold).
• Turn the sky to a day, or to today.
• Show the list narrowed to a journal, a subject or a tag.
• Sort the orbits by journals or by months.
• Open an entry in the reader, compose on an entry or a new one, a journal's page, an echo's card, the escritoire on any shelf, the shuttle, the journals short list, the welcome, settings or any one settings page.
• Open a link from an entry in the browser, a tie to another Zenith app in that app, the place in a map app, or one of an entry's files in the phone's viewer.
• Close what is open on top.

#Settings

• List every setting it may read or change, and read or change one by name. A Gold setting is refused in words without Gold.
• Apply an ease preset in one step.
• Change the suite's sound, navigation and star labels — in every Zenith app.
• Bring every hint back, or put one away.
• Turn "read aloud" and, with Gold, "the sky remembers your talks" on or off.
• List Zenith AI's lenses, and switch one on or off.
• Take the sky's background picture away — asked first.
• Turn each notice on or off, and set the nudge's hour.

#Google Drive

Once you have connected Google Drive in settings › "files":

• Back everything up to Drive now.
• Turn the daily backup, or keeping in step with Drive (Gold), on or off. Turning sync on syncs once straight away.
• Sync with Drive now (Gold).
• List the backups on Drive, newest first, and restore one over everything on this phone — asked first.

#Insights and Gold

• Give everything insights counts (Gold), and find subjects across different words (Gold).
• Say what journal gold opens, where each thing lives, its price and whether this phone has it.
• Restore a journal gold purchase made before.

#About the app

• Say the Journal's version, and whether a crash report is waiting.
• Throw a waiting crash report away unsent — asked first.
• Open a website or a policy link in the phone's browser.
• Read its own manual of the Journal.

#Its own talk

• Report one of its replies as wrong or harmful, as ⚑ does.
• Burn every remembered talk, or write them to a text file for the share sheet — each asked first.

#What stays yours

Buying journal gold, the AI switches, the service, the model and the key, your yes to sending, "let the sky do things that cannot be undone", the app lock, connecting Google Drive, the phone's pickers, a recording, writing to support, sending a crash report, and every touch, drag and pinch.
