Widgets
Tasks has two home-screen widgets: "add task", a one-tap capture button, and a tasks widget that lists your open tasks.
Place one
Long-press the home screen › widgets › Zenith Tasks, and drag one out. This is Android's own screen.
"add task"
2 × 1, and it stretches sideways. Tap anywhere on it and quick add opens. See Quick add, the tile & the bubble.
The tasks widget
3 × 2, and it stretches both ways.
- The top reads "✦ Zenith Tasks", with "+" to open quick add.
- It lists the open tasks and nodes at the top of the sky on screen, ★ priority first — up to 8, or 12 in two columns when it's wide. With nothing open it says "all clear ✦".
- Tap "○" to complete that task. The widget redraws.
- Tap a title to open Tasks.
It completes the same way as in Tasks: it can be undone, its reminder is cancelled, and talismans that wait for a completion run. A gated node with open tasks inside stays open, and a message says "finish the tasks inside first — this one completes only when they're done."
The widget also redraws each time you leave Tasks.
