Folds & tablets
On a wide screen — a fold opened, or a tablet — a second half can sit beside the bloom, the rings of your tasks. In the app's words: "on a fold or tablet, open wide: an outline of this sky, or another sky, sits beside the bloom."
All of it is Zenith Gold — part of the one-time paid upgrade. Without Gold no second half shows, whatever was chosen before. On a phone-width screen nothing shows either.
The page
settings › "folds & tablets". Without Gold the row wears ✦, and a tap opens the Gold offer — "folds & tablets — a second half beside your sky is part of Zenith Gold." — instead of the page.
| row | choices | to start |
|---|---|---|
| "split screen" | "off" · "bloom + outline" · "two skies" | off |
| "which side" | "right" · "left" of the bloom | right |
| "which sky" | "automatic", or one of your open skies | automatic |
"which sky" shows only with "two skies" chosen and more than one sky open.
"bloom + outline"
An outline of the same sky: "☰ ‹sky›", "outline · same sky · tap a row to edit". It shows every task at every depth, indented, nothing folded away. An empty sky: "this sky is empty."
- Tick a box to complete a task, untick it to reopen it — the same as completing anywhere else. The undo pill shows, its reminder is cancelled and talismans run. A task that completes only when the stars inside are done says "finish the tasks inside first — this one completes only when they're done."
- Tap a row to open its edit sheet.
"two skies"
Another open sky, to read: "☰ ‹sky›", "another sky · tap to bring to the front".
- Tap it and that sky comes to the front, and the one you were on moves into the second half.
- It needs a second sky open. "which sky" picks it; "automatic" shows the first other open sky. Changing "which sky" swaps it at once.
- What it shows is a copy of that sky, taken when it was picked.
From the viewer panel
"view", bottom right, has two rows for this:
- "split screen" steps "off" → "bloom + outline" → "two skies". Without Gold a tap opens the Gold offer and it stays off.
- "⤢ open a second sky" — wide screens only. It sets split screen to two skies. With only one sky open, it first asks you for one to open. While two skies show, the row reads "⤢ close the second sky" and sets split screen back to off.
