The skies page

How-to

The skies page holds your skies — each one a whole Tasks file. Open it with the skies button (stacked squares), top right of the main screen.

It opens with "each sky is its own file on this phone — your personal sky, your work sky… ask the sky works on the one you're looking at."

Top to bottom

  • "open a sky from a file" and "+ new sky".
  • "open · 2 of 3" — or "open · 2" with Zenith Gold. Only your own skies are counted. While the tutorial or a demo sky is open it reads "open · 2 of 3 · tutorial & demo skies don't count".
  • Your open skies, two to a row, all the same height; a lone last card keeps half the width. Each card shows ✦ and its name — the tutorial sky and demo skies with a small "tutorial" or "demo" beside the ✦. The one on screen says "looking at it" and is outlined.
  • "saved on this phone" — "skies you closed — tap one to open it again", each with "rename" and "delete". A tutorial or demo sky shows "· tutorial" or "· demo" after its name.
  • "· close ·" at the bottom.

Switch skies

Tap a card. See Open & closed skies.

Make a new sky

Tap "+ new sky".

A card's ⋯ menu

rowwhat it does
"rename"asks "rename this sky", with "rename" or "never mind"
"close — stays saved"closes it. You see "closed — it stays saved on this phone"
"save as a file (.zts)"saves that sky as one file. See Save, open & back up
"delete…"asks before deleting — see below

With only one sky open there is no close or delete. One sky always stays open.

Delete a sky

"delete…" asks "delete this sky from the phone?" — "“‹name›” and every task in it will be gone. save it as a file first if you might want it back." Tap "delete" or "never mind".

A deleted sky isn't in undo.

The Gold limit

Without Gold, 3 of your own skies can be open at once. The tutorial sky and demo skies never count, and a saved one opens again even at 3 — see The tutorial sky & demo content. Past that, "+ new sky", opening a file, or reopening a saved one opens the Gold offer instead (Gold).

Open a file here

"open a sky from a file" opens a file as a new sky of your own — never the tutorial or a demo sky. A backup or a node file opened here goes in the same way as from settings › "files". See Save, open & back up.
