Ease — presets & sizes
The "ease" page is the calendar's accessibility page. Four one-tap presets sit at the top. Below them you can change colour, labels, motion, touch, marks and sizes, each on its own. Everything on the page is free.
Where. Settings › ease. It opens scrolled to the top, so you see the presets first. In order: the four preset chips, "colour strength", "button labels", "reduce motion" and "remove glows", the "touch" controls, "marks as letters", "commitment size", "earth & moon size", "↺ back to standard", "view transitions", then the text sizes. Motion, colour and touch have their own page. You can also ask the sky to set any of these by name.
The four presets
The chips read "standard", "easier to read", "text only" and "calm". The one in force wears ✓, and what each is for is written under the row. The default is "standard".

When you pick one, the calendar says what it did. A preset changes only the ease controls. It never touches the theme, your almanacs — your calendars, each a coloured layer of commitments — or where new commitments land. No preset changes the touch settings or "button labels".
Back to standard
"↺ back to standard" shows only when something on the page has moved from how it came, even if only a touch setting or "button labels" moved. It puts back everything the "standard" chip does. It also puts back the touch settings and turns "button labels" on again. Your theme, your calendar and your almanacs stay as they are. It answers "ease is back to standard".
Text sizes
Under "text size — relative to the system's setting (the center is exactly the system size)":
- "everything" — one size for the whole app, measured against your phone's own text size. Sheets, dialogs and menus follow it. The default is 1, exactly the phone's size. It goes from 0.7 up to 2, so large text is never cut short. "easier to read" sets 1.3 and "text only" sets 1.5.
- Four area sliders multiply on top, for any part that reads too big or too small. Each is 1 by default, from 0.8 to 1.6: "the calendar’s labels" (the words drawn on the sky), "the big date" (top left), "the brief" (the day's commitments written out at the bottom) and "the takeover" (a commitment's full page).
Sizes, labels and marks
- "commitment size" — how big meteors, asteroids and fixed stars are drawn: your one-time, repeating and yearly commitments. The default is 1, from 0.7 to 2.2. "easier to read" sets 1.6 and "text only" sets 1.8.
- "earth & moon size" — the earth and moon have their own slider. The default is 1, from 0.6 to 1.6. It is also on the "the sky" page.
- "button labels" — a word beside each round corner button: "voice", "add", "back", "today", "almanacs", "settings", "tomorrow", "AI", "shuttle". Off, the buttons stand alone. On by default. It is also the first row of quick settings, which you open by holding the ⚙.
- "marks as letters" — draws every almanac and commitment as the first letter of its name, whatever mark — its small symbol or picture — it was given. Text always takes the almanac's colour. Turn it off and every chosen mark comes back. Off by default; "text only" turns it on.
- "bump spacing" (under "touch") — how far apart the scrub texture's bumps are: "fine", "medium" or "coarse". The default is medium. It shows only while "haptics" and "scrub texture" are both on, and no preset changes it.
