"latched back"

The bloom stays open after you lift, in either mode, so you don't have to keep a finger down. Two buttons sit at the bottom centre while a bloom is open: ‹ (back) and ◉ (open).

  • Touch a star to choose it. Lifting does nothing else. Touching a dock button presses it at once.
  • ◉ acts on the chosen star. A node opens its ring. A star with a card opens the card and the bloom closes. A star with nothing inside goes out in a burst and is marked done — or reopens if it was done — and the bloom closes. ◉ stays dim until a star is chosen.
  • ‹ closes the top ring. At the first ring it closes the bloom.

Resting on a node still opens it, and sliding back to the centre below still folds a ring shut. In "hold & drag" you still hold to open the bloom.

"dwell to complete"

Rest on a star and it completes, without lifting or tapping.

  1. While a bloom is open, keep still on a star with nothing inside. A thin arc fills around it. Slide off and the clock stops.
  2. When the arc is full, the star goes out in a burst and is marked done.

A done star reopens. A star with a card opens its card instead. A node doesn't count down — resting on it opens it instead. It works in full bloom too.

Completing shows an "undo" pill, cancels the task's reminder and runs any talisman waiting for it. In "hold & drag" the bloom then closes; in "tap & place", or with "latched back" on, it stays open.

"↺ back to standard"

Shows only once something on the page has moved: "puts every setting on this page back where it started. nothing else is touched — not your tasks." It says "back to standard". There's no undo, but each setting can be set again.
