The matrix
The matrix shows your open stars in four boxes, by urgent and important, headed "priority matrix". It is Zenith Gold — part of the one-time paid upgrade.
Open it
Either of these, with Gold:
- settings › "layout & size" › "view" › "matrix"
- "view", bottom right › "view mode", which steps bloom → matrix → list
Without Gold, "view" reads "matrix ✦" and opens the Gold offer, and "view mode" steps only between bloom and list.
What goes in
Only open stars with nothing inside them. Nodes themselves don't show, and the sky's own top is never listed.
- Important means flagged — see Words, colours & marks on a task.
- Urgent means due within 48 hours, or overdue.
The line under the title says so: "flag a task to make it important; a near due date makes it urgent."
The ★ priority switch is not the matrix's "important". The flag is.
The four boxes
| box | holds |
|---|---|
| "do first" | urgent & important |
| "schedule" | important, not urgent |
| "delegate" | urgent, not important |
| "eliminate" | neither |
Each box shows its count. An empty one shows "—".
In a sky with regions, each box lists its stars region by region, under each region's name.
Work it
- Tap the ring before a star to complete it. The undo pill comes up. A task that completes only when the stars inside are done, with some still open, stays and says "finish the tasks inside first — this one completes only when they're done."
- Tap the title to open its edit sheet.
To move a star between boxes, flag it or give it a due date on its edit sheet.
The horizon and "match my context" in the viewer panel don't change the matrix.
