Folds, tablets & wide screens

Reference

Big screens have their own settings page: an unfolded fold, a tablet, or a big phone on its side. It has seven Gold rows and two rows free for everyone.

Where. Settings › zenith gold › folds & tablets. Without Gold the row wears ✦. The page opens with "for an unfolded fold, a tablet, or a big phone on its side", and you can read it without Gold. Back returns to "zenith gold".

In the Gold rows, each name and each locked answer wears ✦ until Gold is yours. Tapping a locked answer opens the Gold offer. In six of those rows, the answer the app has always given is open to everyone. In "the second view", every answer is locked.

  • "wide screens" — "docket" splits the screen. The sky — the calendar screen, one canvas that becomes each view — sits on one side, and the docket, a side panel for whatever is open, sits on the other. The sky starts at 60% of the width and keeps where you last left the divider. With "full sky" on a fold's inside screen or a tablet, the sky stands in its own frame below the big date and clear of the top buttons. Held sideways, the right side always shows the chosen day's list. A phone, either way up, never gets this frame.
  • "the sky sits on the" — which side of the docket the sky keeps.
  • "the docket at rest" — what the docket shows when nothing is open in it. "the second view" picks which view that second sky shows.
  • "a commitment's page, wide" — "beside the details" puts the picture, or a map of its place, on one half and the details on the other.
  • "folding and unfolding" — with "each screen its own", the cover and inside screens each remember their last view. The cover starts on day, the inside on year.
  • "half-closed like a laptop" — "desk clock" turns the flat bottom half into a desk clock.

For everyone (free)

  • "the wider sky" — "expanse" (the default) draws the sky as always. "magnify", on a wide screen, makes the marks, the words and the reach of a touch 35% larger.
  • "turning the phone" — "rotate" (the default) follows your phone's auto-rotate. "portrait" holds the app upright. "landscape" holds it sideways, either way up. It takes effect at once.

By asking. Ask the sky can set every row and the docket's divider. Without Gold, it is refused any Gold answer.
