Chat memory & the screen chip

Two choices shape what ask the sky — the calendar's AI assistant — knows beyond your words. Chat memory keeps your talks on the phone and feeds them back. The "⌗ screen" chip sends a line describing what you are looking at. Both start off.

#Turn on chat memory (Gold)

With chat memory on, the sky remembers your talks, so it knows what you told it last week. This is a (Gold) feature.

1. Open the ask the sky sheet.
2. Tap "remember ✦" at the top. It reads "remembers" while on. Without Gold, it opens the Gold offer for chat memory instead.

You can also turn it on in Settings › ask the sky › the sky remembers your talks, or in Settings › zenith gold › chat memory — the sky remembers. All three are the same setting.

What it keeps:

• Each ask and reply of the main sheet. The sheet opens with them, and the recent ones go back to the AI with each ask.
• The last 200 lines, on this phone only.
• Never a talk about one commitment — anything on your calendar, an event or a thing to do. Those talks are always forgotten.

#Edit or erase what it remembers

These controls show in Settings › ask the sky while something is remembered.

1. Tap "✎ edit the remembered talks". This needs Gold, with memory on.
2. Tap a line. Choose "keep" to rewrite it, "burn this line" to erase it (it asks twice), or "leave it".

To erase everything, tap "burn them all" and confirm on the second tap, "sure? every talk, gone". Erasing is always free, Gold or not.

You can also ask the sky to list your remembered talks, rewrite a line, or turn memory off. Erasing lines by asking counts as a destructive action, so it needs "allow destructive actions" on (see Safety, consent & destructive actions).

#Let the sky see what you are looking at

The "⌗ screen" chip sends one line with each ask that describes what is on the calendar in front of you. Then "this" means something to the sky.

1. Open the ask the sky sheet.
2. Tap the "⌗ screen" chip under the title to turn it on. Tap again to turn it off. The choice is kept.

The chip has no row in Settings. It is greyed where there is nothing on screen to describe. The sky can switch it for you too.

What the line says:

• From the sky — the whole calendar screen: which view you are on, the year, the picked day and up to eight of that day's commitments with their times.
• From an almanac's page — one of your calendars: its name and description, how many commitments it holds, whether it is shown or hidden, whether it is locked, and what feeds it.

The line is built from the calendar's own state. Nothing is read from other apps or from the phone's screen.
