The Shuttle in the Journal
The shuttle is the suite's shared tray for passing words and files between Zenith apps on this phone. It is the same list in every Zenith app. How it works across the family is on The Shuttle.
Open it
- "shuttle" — the rocket, top right of the home views, the escritoire and a journal's page.
- The same rocket in the top line of compose, design and bring to life, beside "AI".
- settings › "the shuttle" — "the suite's shared crossing".
A panel slides in from the right over a dimmed screen. Tap the dimmed side, or press back, to close it.
The panel
- "the shuttle" and its line: "the shuttle carries words and files between zenith apps — launcher, calendar, mind, tasks, ai, tulpa, the icon pack and journal. an entry's ⋯ › onto the shuttle sends it on; pick one up to bring it in."
- Empty — "nothing is riding it. put something on the shuttle in another zenith app, then open this."
- The list — "🚀 Shuttle", with "Tap for actions · hold and drag to place it". Each row shows the words, or "📎 name · size" for a file, and "from <app> · <source>".
Tap a row

Drag a row in
- Hold a row. The drag starts and the panel steps aside at once.
- Let it go where you want it:

Every drop has "undo" for about four seconds; until you move to another screen, the same undo also waits in the "undo" button in the top corner. See Undo & earlier versions. Undo takes back what the drop did, and a file it brought goes back out with it; on the sky, undo sends the new entry to the burn pile, and switches "loose" off again if the drop switched it on.
A slide turns a drop away with a line: "a journal's slides hold its entries' files — drop it on one entry's design", "this entry is open in compose — finish there first", "there is no slide here to drop it on", or "this slide is full". Words dropped on a slide with no room for their box still go into the entry: "this slide is full — the words are at the end of the entry", with "undo".
Picking up or dragging never takes an item off the shuttle. With two Zenith apps side by side on the screen, an item can be dragged from one into the other.
Where it is kept
Everything riding the shuttle is kept on this phone, by the Zenith app that holds the suite's shared things, with its own copy of each file. Nothing goes to a cloud. If a file's copy can't be made, nothing is put on. Removing an item takes it off for every Zenith app, file and all.

An entry goes on as its words: its title, then its text. Its pictures and other files don't go. It says "on the shuttle", or "the shuttle would not take it" — words too long to pass between apps are refused this way. A hidden entry is refused: "a hidden entry stays off the shuttle".
Putting something on is sharing, so it is journal gold; without it, the Gold sheet opens.
Ask the sky
