Zenith Gold in Tasks
Zenith Gold — the one-time paid upgrade — lifts Zenith Tasks' limits for $1.99. You pay once, for this app, and it is yours for good. It is never a subscription.
Gold is never shared with the other Zenith apps. Each sells its own, and unlocking one never unlocks another. The page says it in Tasks' own words: "one payment, this app, forever — never a subscription, and never shared with the other zenith apps." How Gold works across the family is on Zenith Gold across the suite.
What stays free
"every task, reminder, capture, widget and ask the sky are free — and stay free, with 3 skies open at once and 2 regions in each. gold lifts this app's caps."
What Gold opens
As the app's own list names them:
| in the app's words | what it means |
|---|---|
| "every theme — including living iridescent & neon" | every theme beyond clean, mono and pastel. See Themes, colours & background |
| "custom colours & your own background picture" | "more…" for any accent or background colour, and "use a picture" |
| "your own pictures as node symbols" | "🖼 upload image" on a task, and pictures shared into Tasks. See Words, colours & marks on a task |
| "the Eisenhower priority-matrix view" | the matrix. See The matrix (Gold) |
| "analyze — circular blockers & single points of failure" | see Analyze (Gold) |
| "chat memory — the sky recalls your saved conversations" | see Chat memory (Gold) |
| "unlimited talismans" | 3 are free; the demo content's talismans don't count. See Talismans |
| "more than 3 skies open at once" | your own skies — the tutorial sky and demo skies never count. See Open & closed skies and The tutorial sky & demo content |
| "folds & tablets — an outline of your sky, or a second sky, beside it" | all of it, "bloom + outline" too. See Folds & tablets (Gold) |
| "more than 2 regions in a sky — each opens its own bloom" | see Regions |
Before you have Gold each line wears ◇; after, ✦ in gold.
Limits that keep what you made
- A sky that already has more than 2 regions keeps them without Gold.
- If Gold is taken back — a refund — it only caps you. It never deletes your work.
When you reach for something Gold holds
A sheet opens at once:
- "✦ zenith gold"
- "‹thing› is part of Zenith Gold."
- the same list
- "Unlock Zenith Gold — $1.99" and "One-time purchase, not a subscription."
- "Not now"
A tap outside, or back, closes it. It closes itself once Gold arrives.
If you ask the sky for a Gold setting without Gold, it says that setting "is part of Zenith Gold — Tasks Gold, $1.99 once." rather than opening the sheet.
The Gold page
settings › "zenith gold". The row reads "zenith gold", lined "what it opens · $1.99, once". Once Gold is yours it reads "zenith gold ✦", lined "yours — what it opens", and the page says "tasks gold is yours. everything below is open."
- "✦ unlock zenith gold · $1.99" — while Gold is not yours. You buy it through the Play Store.
- "restore a purchase" — "asking the store what you already own…", then "gold restored." or "no gold purchase found on this account."
The only thing that grants Gold is a purchase the store confirms. Tasks asks again each time it comes on screen, so a purchase comes back by itself. Offline, nothing changes.
With no Play Store on the phone: "there's no Play Store on this phone — gold is bought through it."
Ask the sky can open this page for you, but it can't buy or restore Gold.
