How the calendar fits the suite

Zenith Calendar is one app in a family of eight: Zenith Launcher, the Zenith Icon Pack, Zenith Mind, Zenith Tasks, Zenith AI, Zenith Calendar, Tulpa and the Zenith Journal. Each one works alone. Installed together, they share a little and can hand things to one another. The family as a whole is on The Zenith Suite & broker.

#All of it happens on the phone

There is no Zenith server, and nothing in this sharing reaches the internet. The apps talk through a part called the broker — a private doorway inside each app that only an app signed with the suite's own key can open. No app from outside the family can listen at it, or answer as one of its members.

One installed app holds the shared state, and the others read it across. Which one is settled by rank, highest first: the Launcher, then Mind, Tasks, the calendar, Zenith AI, the Journal, Tulpa. So the calendar ranks fourth. The Icon Pack never holds it.

With no other Zenith app on the phone, the calendar keeps everything itself. Nothing behaves differently for it.

#What the family shares

• Your AI service keys. A key typed in any Zenith app also works in the calendar. See Shared keys & connected accounts.
• A few suite-wide settings. These include whether Zenith's interface sounds play at all — see Sound across the suite — and the suite's master AI switch.
• Who the assistant is, and what it sounds like. See Cielo & lenses.
• The shuttle — the suite's shared tray for passing things between Zenith apps — with the files in it. See The Shuttle in the calendar.
• Your connected Google accounts, with their sign-ins. See Connected accounts & Drive sync.
• Zenith Tasks' dated stars. Zenith Tasks keeps a list of every star it has given a due date. Only Tasks writes it; the calendar reads it and shows each star on its day. See The eye — putting repeats away.

#What it does not share: Gold

Zenith Gold — the one-time paid upgrade — is never shared. Each app sells its own, at its own price, and unlocking one never unlocks another.

The calendar's Gold comes from the calendar's own purchase and nothing else. The broker is never asked about it and knows nothing about it. See Zenith Gold in the calendar.

#Three doors between the apps

None of these doors lets one app write into another's data.

• Open hands a sibling app a link and lets it show the thing.
• Create from asks a sibling to make something of its own kind out of a title, a note and a due time. That is how "→ zenith tasks" on a commitment's page works — a commitment being one thing you have to do.
• Link asks a sibling to record a link back, so both sides of a hand-over show the connection. The calendar answers this one with no screen at all, and keeps only a properly formed Zenith address.

#Marks from any icon pack

A mark is the small glyph an almanac or commitment wears. Marks from an icon pack are found by what the pack declares, not by who made it. So any icon pack on the phone can supply them, not only Zenith's.

If the pack behind a mark is uninstalled, the mark is reported as unavailable rather than quietly drawn as nothing.

#Where you meet all this

• settings › "shuttle", which opens the shared tray.
• The "→ zenith tasks" row inside "↗ take it elsewhere" on a commitment's page. It appears only when Zenith Tasks is installed.
• The "→ zenith journal" row beside it, and "remind me to journal after" in a commitment's "⊕ expand". Both appear only while Zenith Journal can take a commitment. See Share a commitment.

Everywhere else, the family is invisible.
