The calendar in the Zenith Suite

Zenith Calendar is one app in a family, the Zenith Suite. It finds the other Zenith apps on your phone, reads from them and hands things to them. The family shares its data through a private store on your phone that only Zenith apps can reach — see the Zenith Suite & broker.

#What is shared, and what stays in the calendar

Shared across the suite: your AI keys, the AI master switch, the active being and lenses, the sound switch, the Shuttle — the suite's shared tray for passing text and files between Zenith apps — your connected Google accounts, and the calendar's actions, which other Zenith assistants can use.

Kept to the calendar: its Gold, its choice of AI service, its almanacs — your calendars, each a named, coloured layer of commitments — its journal, its notification switches and its own settings.

#Where each sibling meets the calendar

Each of these shows only when that app is installed.

• Zenith Tasks. On a commitment — anything on your calendar, an event or a thing to do — the "↗ take it elsewhere" menu has "→ zenith tasks". Text in the Shuttle has "→ send to tasks". Ask the sky, the calendar's AI assistant, can use Tasks too, and "✦ plan it with the sky" checks your open tasks. Tasks can also hand a task to the calendar to become a commitment.
• Zenith Mind. A journal entry has "· send to mind ·". When Mind links back, the tie shows under "tied to".
• Zenith AI. It holds the suite-wide AI switch. Off there, the calendar sends nothing to an AI. It also supplies the lenses, so the "lens" chip shows only when Zenith AI is installed. The calendar still picks its own AI service.
• Zenith Launcher. It usually keeps the shared keys and the Shuttle for the whole family.
• Every sibling's assistant can act on the calendar while the calendar's and the suite's AI switches are on.

#Links and hand-overs

A Zenith app never writes another app's data. It opens a link to one thing, asks a sibling to make something from what it hands over, or asks it to add a link back.

• Made from another app. A sibling hands over a title, a note, a due time and a link back. The calendar opens a new commitment's form, filled in, and the commitment keeps the link both ways.
• Linked back. When a sibling makes something from one of your commitments or journal entries, it adds its link without opening the calendar. The calendar says "linked from ‹app›".

Links show as "⛓ ‹app› · ‹type›" on a commitment's page, and under "tied to" in a journal entry.

#Notifications, the suite way

Every Zenith app sends notifications the same way: one kind per switch, the same look, and a tap that opens the thing itself. The switches are not shared; the calendar keeps its own, in Settings › notifications:

A switched-off kind is never delivered — not merely silenced, never sent. An almanac with its own sound gets its own channel, shared with every almanac that chose the same tone.
