Icon shapes, masking & backgrounds
A few appearance surprises come not from the pack but from how launchers draw icons, and knowing the cause makes them easy to accept or adjust.
- One size, scaled down. Each icon is drawn on a single large square canvas (192×192 pixels) with the artwork filling most of it. Launchers scale that one master down to whatever size your grid uses; there are no separate small/large copies to manage.
- Masking into circles and squircles. Many launchers force every icon into a shared shape — a circle, squircle, or rounded square — by masking. When they do, the corners of a Zenith icon can be clipped. Important detail is kept away from the corners for this reason, but if a mask crops something you want, look in your launcher's icon-shape or icon-style setting to choose a fuller shape (often "original" or "system").
- Transparent backgrounds. Zenith icons carry a transparent background rather than a solid tile, so they sit directly on your wallpaper. If your launcher adds its own background plate or "adaptive" tile behind every icon, that plate comes from the launcher's setting, not from the pack.
