Priority & the ★ list
A priority is a task you starred as important. Three things follow from it: a switch on the task, a lens on the bloom, and a list.
Star a task as a priority
- Open the task's edit sheet.
- Turn on "★ priority — mark as important", in the switches under "definition of done (optional)".
- Tap "save changes".
A priority task:
- shows in the ★ priority list while it is open
- survives "priority only" in the bloom
- comes first on the widget, with a ★
- counts as already planned in tomorrow plan
The star itself looks the same in the bloom. A weather trigger that fires turns priority on by itself — see Weather triggers.
"priority only"
"priority only" hides everything in the bloom that isn't a priority — "hide everything that isn't a priority".
- A task stays if it is a priority, or if anything inside it is. So you can still reach a priority task deep inside a node.
- The bloom and full bloom draw only what passes, and only those stars can be touched or dropped onto.
- List view and the matrix are not filtered by it.
Switch it with the star button at the top right. It turns gold while on, and a short note says "priority only" or "all tasks". The same switch is at settings › "layout & size" › "priority only". It starts off.
The ★ priority list
The list of every open task you've marked "★ priority", wherever it sits in the sky on screen. It is headed "★ priority" — "what you've marked important in this sky."
Open it with "list", beside the priority star at the top right, or "view" › "★ priority".
- Each row shows the title, the path above it — the sky's name, then the nodes it sits in — and a gold star.
- Tap the title to open its edit sheet.
- Tap the star to take it off priority, at once.
Empty, it reads "no priority tasks yet. star a task on its edit page."
