Full bloom & pinch
Full bloom shows the bloom — the rings of your tasks that open where you touch — with every path open at once. Each node's tasks, and their tasks, are drawn out instead of waiting for you to open them one by one. In the app's words: "show every path at once".
Switch it on
Either of these:
- settings › "layout & size" › "full bloom"
- "view", bottom right › "full bloom"
It starts off.
What draws
When a bloom opens, every node on it draws its whole inside behind the open ring, as far as 6 levels down. Every level is full size, each task at its own angle and orbit. Deeper rings are a little dimmer, so the level under your finger still reads first.
Names show by the "labels" setting. Subtitles don't.
Nothing shrinks to fit, so stars can overlap where they sit close. Pinch and pan to move through it.
All of it works
Any star in it can be touched — the deepest one under your finger wins — to open, complete, or use with the dock. Resting on a node deeper in opens it too. Something dragged in from the shuttle lands on the deepest star under it.
"priority only" and regions still decide what shows.
Pinch and pan
Two fingers zoom the bloom in and out and move it around, so you can reach parts that sit off the screen.
It works in "tap & place", with full bloom on, or any time a bloom is open — including while you hold one open in "hold & drag".
- In hold & drag, keep one finger down to hold the bloom, and add a second to pinch and pan. Lift the second finger and the hold goes on. Lift the holding finger and it counts as letting go there. A second finger that lands on a dock button presses that button instead.
- The point between your fingers stays under them while you spread or pinch. Dragging both fingers pans.
- Zoom runs from 0.15× to 4×. The bloom moves; the dock and your trail stay where they are.
- The zoom goes back to normal when the bloom closes. In "hold & drag" without full bloom, each new hold also starts un-zoomed.
There are no on-screen zoom buttons.
Pinch speed
settings › "touch" › "pinch speed" sets how fast a pinch zooms, in either mode: 100% to start, from 30% to 250%. At 100% it zooms as far as your fingers move.
