The settings book

Reference

Every setting lives in the settings book. It is a list of fifteen rows, each with a short line under it. Each row opens a page inside settings, or a room of its own.

Where. Tap the ⚙ labelled "settings" on the sky — the calendar screen, one canvas that becomes each view. Or hold the ⚙ for quick settings, where "all settings ›" opens the same list.

The list

It is headed "settings" and ends in "· close ·".

Once you own Gold, "zenith gold" gains ✦ and its line reads "yours — what it opens". One more page, "folds & tablets", sits inside "zenith gold".

"connections" is the calendar's own page on the suite's shared account list. It asks Google only for Drive files and your email address.

Moving around

  • A page shows "‹" and its name at the top. That is the way out. Each page opens scrolled to its own top.
  • Back steps out one layer: a page back to the list, "folds & tablets" back to "zenith gold". From the list, back closes settings. A page opened directly, for example by ask the sky, closes settings on back. Every back plays the back sound.
  • Rooms opened from settings (the binder, the journal, connections, the setup sheet, the Shuttle) return you to settings when you leave them.
  • A new commitment while settings is open. The new-commitment form opens in front of settings when you tap ✛, select text, drop words on the sky, or another Zenith app hands something over. One back leaves the form, and settings is there as you left it.
  • Gold walls. Reaching a Gold choice on any page opens the Gold offer, with that choice shown first.
  • In the docket — the side panel on a wide screen (Gold) — settings fills the docket's whole side.

About

  • "zenith calendar" (with ✦ once Gold is yours), and a line on the idea behind it: the model is the calendar, a living orrery — your year drawn as an orbit round the sun — of your time.
  • The version line, "version 1.0.0 (10000)", and "built by black syntax · part of the zenith suite".
  • "CONTACT & PUBLISHING" — the Zenith Suite ([email protected], zenithsuite.app), Black Syntax, the developer ([email protected], blacksyntax.com), and Friend Castle, the publisher ([email protected], friendcastle.org). Tap an address to open your mail app, or a site to open it.
  • "more apps →" — Friend Castle's list of apps.
  • "FEEDBACK" — "tell us what the sky got wrong — it reaches a person". "write to support ↗" starts a mail to [email protected] with the app version and phone filled in. "support ↗" opens the support site.
  • "AGREEMENTS & POLICIES" — "privacy policy ↗" (the suite's one privacy policy), "acceptable use ↗", "ai & safety ↗", and a link to the support pages.
