The morning, the evening bell & tomorrow
Beyond the moment itself, the calendar can list your day at dawn, ring quietly the evening before a commitment — anything on your calendar, an event or a thing to do — and open tomorrow as a sheet to plan in.
The morning
One notification at the start of each day, listing today's commitments. Default: off.
- Switch. Settings › notifications › "the morning — today's commitments, once at dawn". Turning it on sets it for the next 8:00; turning it off cancels it.
- When. Once a day at 8:00, up to 15 minutes late. Each one sets the next dawn while the switch stays on.
- What it says. The title is "the morning". The body lists up to three of today's commitments in time order, each with its time, then how many more there are. On an empty day it reads "a quiet day — nothing placed today". Tap it to open today.
The evening before
A quiet notice at 18:00 the day before. The title reads "tomorrow · ‹title›", and the body "on your calendar at ‹h:mm› · zenith calendar" (without the time for an all-day commitment). Tap it to open the commitment's page on its day.
Who gets one is decided in this order:
- The commitment itself, if its own evening-before bell is set.
- Otherwise its almanac — one of your calendars, a named, coloured layer of commitments — if the almanac says "always" or "never".
- Otherwise the app's "day-before notice", for timed commitments only.
Two switches on Settings › notifications control this. The assistant can set them too.

Set the evening-before bell on one commitment
A bell on a single commitment rings the evening before, whatever "day-before notice" says.
- How. In the day's brief — the list of that day's commitments along the bottom of the sky — hold the commitment's row and tap "🔔 evening-before bell". While it is set, the row reads "· on".
- It rings at 18:00 the evening before — always, even on an all-day commitment — and is delivered under "evening bells you set".
- It is saved with the commitment wherever it lives.
- On an almanac under the lock — a locked almanac refuses every change until you unlock it — it is refused.
Tomorrow
The ◐ sheet shows the day ahead, with room to add and the sky to plan with.
Where it is. ◐ "tomorrow" in the top-right corner of the sky — the whole calendar screen — or the launcher shortcut "tomorrow plan".
- The header shows "tomorrow" and tomorrow's weekday and date.
- Tomorrow's commitments, in reading order, each with a coloured dot, its title and its time. Tap one to open its page. With nothing yet, it reads "a quiet day so far — nothing placed yet".
- "✛ place something" starts a new commitment on tomorrow.
- "✦ plan it with the sky" opens ask the sky — the calendar's built-in AI assistant — to plan tomorrow step by step from what is already there. It looks at open tasks when Zenith Tasks offers them, and places what you agree on. Shown only when the assistant is on.
Each of these opens over the sheet and brings it back when closed. On a wide screen with the docket — the side panel beside the sky (Gold) — the sheet fills the docket's side.
